The main aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between foreign direct investment and R&D spending using panel co-integration methods for upper middle-income economies and high-income economies. A larger level of investment is needed to increase the capital stock in order to ensure growth, but the typically low savings rate makes this difficult to achieve. Theoretically, it is expected that foreign direct investments would solve the saving inadequacy problem of the target country leading to economic growth by increasing capital accumulation.

The need of self-care for the elderly has also appeared in Central and Eastern Europe in the changing political and economic conditions of today.The emerging responsibility of self-support directs attention to the opportunities provided by higher-yield investments, among others, the stock exchange. By avoiding the typical "investment mistakes" we can provide ourselves higher returns, living standards and a more relaxed age.

A bankszektorban a XX.-XXI. század fordulóján elterjedtek a számítógépes és az internetes megoldások a pénzügyi műveletek gyorsabb lebonyolítása végett. Az új technológia adta lehetőségeket kihasználva mára már elérhetővé vált az azonnali tőkemozgatás, azonban az új technológia a pénzügyi válságok gyors terjedését is magával hozta. A válságok legjellemzőbb vonása a tömeges fizetésképtelenségek az ügyfelek körében, éppen ezért kiemelkedő fontosságú az előrejelző modellek esetében a csőd definíciójának a legpontosabb megfogalmazása.
