The paper is presenting an overview of six cross-border projects realized between Hungary and Serbia in the agricultural sector in the period 2010-2013. The aim of the research is to interpret projects’ goals, achievements, weaknesses, and contributions in socio-economic development of the northern bordering region of Serbia.

This paper addresses an important literature gap concerning female entrepreneurship within rural communities in North Africa, particularly in Tunisia. This article is an overview of previous findings on the topic and specifically on the matter of environmental settings’ impacts on women’s efforts in rural entrepreneurship. The purpose of this overview is to provide a clearer picture on the situation of female entrepreneurship in rural areas, and the various obstacles that help explain both the work patterns and the home conditioning model.

Jelen tanulmányban az emberi fejlettségi indexet és az ezt alkotó mutatókat: az egy lakosra jutó bruttó hazai terméket, a születéskor várható élettartamot, a kombinált beiskolázási arányt és a felnőtt írni-olvasni tudás rátáját elemzem. Írásomban nem matematikai módszerek és számítási képletek vannak levezetve, hanem a mutatók értékei által tükrözött fejlettségi szintet mutatom be. Az elemzés tartalmazza az egyes mutatók összetevőinek vizsgálatát, így átfogóbb képet alkothatunk a gazdasági-társadalmi helyzet alakulásáról és annak hatásairól.
