Changes in the territorial distribution of population and job seekers with higher education in Hungary

The study uses different statistical methods to examine the change in the territorial distribution and concentration of the tertiary-educated population and the unemployed between 2001 and 2019. Among the known regional inequality indicators measuring regional disparities, the Dual index and the Hoover index were used. With the help of the location quotient (LQ), the representation of those with higher education in relation to the average was explored and represented at the settlement level.

Transformation toward e-learning: experience from the sudden shift to e-courses at COVID-19 time in Central European countries; Students’ satisfaction perspective

This study aims to evaluate transforming toward online-learning, concerning students’ satisfaction, social presence and students’ intention to continue with e-learning in Central European countries, taking the case of Hungarian higher education online courses during COVID- 19 measures.

This study finds that masters and undergraduate students’ satisfaction and social presence of online learning courses are neutral with little bias to be positive, also satisfaction has the key role in affecting student’s intention to continue with future online-learning.

Regional analysis of hungaricums in Europe

In the past years there have been many investigations aiming to analyse the timely issue of consumer behaviour related to Hungaricums, but a great extent of these have dealt only with the ones belonging to the agriculture and food economy. Hungaricums play an important role in strengthening the Hungarian national identity, in creating an attractive country-image and also in tying closer the nation together. The European Union have created a unified regulation system for the designated protection of national origin, by which it aims to keep the diversity of food.

The reassessment of personal competencies in human resources management and in business-oriented higher education

The timeliness of our topic is proved by the fact that nowadays human resources play an indispensable part in the resource system of economic organizations. Our paper examines the personal competencies that play a vital role in corporate efficiency, competitiveness and success. Moreover, we also illustrate how this role has been changing in time. One of the objectives was to create and test a competency structure tailored to the Hungarian labour market situation.

The innovative EU – the future of Europe

In this study, I am going to compare the current innovation performance of the European Union with that of its competitors and give guidance on how to promote the flow of knowledge in Europe thereby enhancing the efficiency of the R&D sector. These processes might be solutions to recover from the economic crisis and make progress in the 21st century.
